Reputation is EVERYTHING…

The other day I was asked by a fellow Pest Control company on Merchant Circle to follow their company. I also happened to notice that they were on http://www.kudzu.com as well so I decided to check them out first. Normally I don’t follow another pest company on Merchant Circle or Kudzu. This company had some not so great work on a few jobs and people had written in to complain and this company rather than take it and solve the problem went on to chastise the customer. I think this is a perfect time to become outstanding – take the problem and solve it – be the hero. After doing that you can then respond to the article by stating how you solved the issue and then maybe the customer can then add their 2 cents – see then it is a problem solved rather than you versus them. A satisfied customer tells 7 people and a dissatisfied customer tells 11 or something like that.

For over 30 years ProBest has been solving issues and problems from ants to Zootermopsis augusticollis (that’s Drywood Termites) it was hard to find a Z. We try our very BEST to do the work correctly and with the customer in mind. We’re not perfect but we try… We also try to perform Quality Control checks on termite work and occasionally pest work to make sure that the standards are met or exceeded.

Reputation is EVERYTHING… Word of mouth is actually the center of the known universe and now the Internet has opened so many more doors from Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and MySpace and the word can spread to 100 or more. Case in point – this lady encountered Bedbugs on a flight and created a blog (link here) just how many will she tell. While I’m on that subject – camera’s are everywhere, in a normal day you may be seen by 8-12 camera’s and in the UK maybe 300 – don’t do anything you wouldn’t want your mother to see.
