Keith V. Birkemeyer aka Dr. Bug has been in the business of pest management for over 20 years. He had brought some egg cases in from the cold one winter in Ohio and when they hatched there were baby Praying Mantis everywhere. Keith’s formal training began in Florida, a state well known for a hearty bug population, especially termites. He continued his career with a chemical manufacturing company as a Technical Specialist.
Keith has traveled the world speaking to various groups about bugs, termites and comprehensive pest management. He is an Associate Certified Entomologist and he shares stories and facts daily on his blog http://www.callprobest.com/blog. He is the owner of ProBest Pest Management which has been named a “Quality Pro” company and awarded the “Mark of Excellence in Pest Management” by the National Pest Management Association. Associate Certified Entomologists (ACEs) are those who have passed at least one rigorous examination to test their knowledge. They generally specialize in pest control. ACEs also agree to ascribe to a code of ethical behavior, and – as part of their certification renewal process – must annually provide a copy of a current pesticide applicator’s licenses.
