Introducing the ProBest Pest Management 5 Stinger Award for Excellence in Pests/Insect/Pest Management Blogging.

Stay tuned for upcoming Pest Bloggers who have met the challenge and have shown a high degree of maintaining and discussing some of the major topics that affect us daily in the world of Pest Management or Pests in general.

    4. Our next awardee is Arizona Pest Control in Tucson, Arizona. http://www.azpest.com – Caleb is the blogger and website, IT guy and is the son of Bruce – the owner of Arizona Pest Control. Quick story – I was at a Diamondbacks game with BASF, box seats and Bruce was there and when he heard that I had just bought a company he said “If you ever need help just give me a call” that’s what I like about this business. Great job Caleb and Bruce.
    5. June 2010 ProBest Pest Management 5 Stinger Award goes out across the ocean to our friends at Rentokil. Their blog titled deBugged was launched to engage with online audiences interested in Pest Control. The blogging team uses their combined knowledge of marketing, communications, service standards and practices as well as technical expertise to offer fascinating insight into the world of pest control. I heard that they are redesigning the blog so stay tuned for a bigger and better debugged site at http://www.rentokil.com/blog/
    6. The 5 Stinger Award September 2010 goes to Beucher & Son Pest Control in Tampa, Florida. They blog at http://lifeintheratshole.wordpress.com – their site is a day to day experiences of a Pest Management Company and chalk full of useful and interesting bug stuff.
    7. December 2010, Compelling Communications http://www.compelcom.com/blog/ Interesting blog on growing your business, marketing and more importantly what it takes to get there. June Van Klaveren is in tune with the Pest Management Industry and has spoken on numerous occasions including the National Pest Management Association (NPMA).
    8. Clark Pest Control - Founded shortly after World War II by returning veterans, Clark Pest Control has grown to become the West’s largest pest management company with branches throughout California and in the Reno, Nevada area. Clark Pest Control currently is one of the largest family-owned and operated pest management companies in the United States. ProBest is honored to award the 5 Stinger award to these these great folks at Clark’s for doing their part to increase knowledge about pest/termites and promote themselves within their community.
    9. July 2011 – Jerry Genesio is the author of “Unseen Hazards That Threaten Hunters, Campers, and Hikers: What you should know about pathogens commonly found in wildlife.” He is a University of Southern Maine graduate and served six years in the U.S. Marine Corps (1956-62). Jerry was employed for nearly 20 years (1970-88) by Cutter Laboratories as a blood specialist in Cutter’s Biological Products (Human) Division. From 1988-93 he worked with United Nations NGO’s providing humanitarian aid to children in war torn areas of Central America, and from 1994-96 worked with the Children of War Rescue Project evacuating war-wounded children from Bosnia. He is now retired and spends much of his time researching and writing articles and books focusing on U.S. and Natural History.
