I watch way to much television, Hoarders got me to thinking about the way of life. What makes a person hoard, gamble, drink or whatever? Some deep seated neuosis similar to what I get everytime I see a spider Arachnephobia or Arachnophobia- Fear of spiders . So I thought maybe we could look at some those phobia’s names. I didn’t tknow there were so many…

Agrizoophobia- Fear of wild animals.
Bacteriophobia- Fear of bacteria.
Chiroptophobia- Fear of bats.
Cnidophobia- Fear of stings.

Isopterophobia- Fear of termites, insects that eat wood.
Katsaridaphobia- Fear of cockroaches.
Pediculophobia- Fear of lice.
Spheksophobia- Fear of wasps

I’m sure I think I have a few more now that I have seen the Phobia List - Ablutophobia – fear of cleaning or Ergophobia- fear of work, many people are afflected by these phobias and thankfully my only one is spiders and maybe heights…
