What can you do when you find a bug at a restaurant? part 2
What can you do when you find a bug at a restaurant? part 2
As I stated yesterday I think it is imperative that you discuss with staff and or management if you locate a bug while dining. Finding a bug isn’t the end of the world, it could have flown in, or someone could have brought it in so don’t panic. Here in Arizona – each and every week KPHO CBS 5 News is sent a list of restaurants that have been recently inspected by Maricopa County’s Environmental Services Department. http://www.kpho.com/category/210113/dirty-dining here is the link and they do an excellent job of tracking the restaurants that fail to abide by the rules.
Here is the link to Maricopa County http://www.maricopa.gov/ Maricopa County’s Environmental Services Department.
Now with all that said there are a lot of restaurants that do an excellent job at cleaning and they are listed
Dean’s List – Those with perfect scores
Thanks to the inspectors and KPHO for providing this great information.

What do you know about the Gila Monster?
What do you know about the Gila Monster?
Gila monsters are found in the SouthWestern United States. The states include Arizona, California, New Mexico, Utah and Nevada. There are several deserts that span this region and these include the Mojave and Sonora. Gila monsters are lizards and are often called beaded lizards that prefer rocky areas & tend to avoid large, open areas. In these rocky areas they will find burrows & spend large amounts of their life in them. Living in a burrow helps them avoid the extreme heat during the daytime & the cold night. They will eat whatever they can when they can in an effort to store up fat for when it is harder to get food. These lizards just like snakes need to be left alone and relocated if possible.
This little piece of artwork is on exhibit at the Chandler Environmental Education Center. Check the schedule calendar on the left side of blog for dates for the Bug Zoo – 3 – 6 year olds.

It’s the little things that matter in termite work!
It’s the little things that matter in termite work!

One of the toughest things we do as a Termite treatment company is to drill holes and somewhat damage concrete. So it is really important that we make the damage (holes) almost invisible. While we try our best sometimes it is an almost impossible task, but I think we do a fairly good job. Check out the photo’s above to see what you think. That is one reason why you should choose ProBest Pest Management.
