News about Bed bugs and pesticides

News is  showing research that bed bugs are adapting to pesticide usage and they might be thickening their skins to avoid the pesticide. Every day we are learning more and more about what is happening in the way of bedbugs, some cities are

“Bed bugs are becoming resistant to some Insecticides”

or “Cuticle Thickening in a Pyrethroid-Resistant strain of Common Bed Bug”

The EPA is deciding on reducing pesticide usage, what and if they decide to reduce some pesticides can influence what is used and when. It may be that in the future we will be limited to newer products.

See I told you this was going to happen!

This whole mess with the economy continues to add woe after woe to those you can’t or won’t follow good rules. Now if you can’t afford it then the City has to do something (remember when they cut the ranks of sanitation workers), don’t get me wrong if money is tight you have to cut things. Can’t cut Police or the Fire Departments, or the water department – well you get the picture.

So this week “The Onion” published this article -“Kim Jong-Un Named The Onion‘s Sexiest Man Alive For 2012” the publication is a satirical and humorous rendition of the news. A little parady of the Sexiest Man of 2012. Apparently some news agencies in China haven’t figured it out yet.

UPDATE: For more coverage on The Onion’s Sexiest Man Alive 2012, Kim Jong-Un, please visit our friends at the People’s Daily in China, a proud Communist subsidiary of The Onion, Inc. Exemplary reportage, comrades. The Onion

So in honor of this great news worthy announcement ProBest Pest Management announces it’s choice for the Sexiest Bug of 2012:

It just has to be the “Bed Bug“, Bedbugs are making a big comeback in the U.S., pest management companies are reporting a 95% increase in calls. They can be found in homes, apartments, hotels, motels, dorm rooms, shelters, movie theaters, schools and modes of transportation including moving vans. International travel has undoubtedly contributed to the resurgence of bed bugs in this country. So stay tuned maybe next year we will have another chance for some fun…
