Is child abuse, the actual hitting of a child or not providing for them? Is child abuse, the act of verbal abuse or not providing for them? How about a pest or rodent infested house, is that child abuse?

I like the premise of your story, I agree that child abuse can be so much more than hitting or verbal abuse. At Phoenix Exterminator Invader Pest Management we too have come across many cases of pest infestations that were so extreme, no one in their right mind should be living that way, and yes the kids are suffering terribly. I work extra hard on these cases to resolve the issue just because I feel so concerned for the children.
